If infidels or apostates are the enemy deserving no protections and are exposed to severe punishment or jihad then how does one know if there are any true Muslims? Is Islam a religion that bullies people into submission? Is that the nature of the prophet and allah? If so then why would such a bully deity have allowed free will in the first place? I would think that such a deity that creates free will would allow the natural consequences of being godless be punishment enough. Applying force to infidels and apostates doesn't speak well to the confidence of the faithful muslims in the appeal of their religion. As they say, when you make a fist you have already lost the argument.

Asalaam wa alaikum warahmahtulahi wa barakahtu i always find it hard to discuss when the prophet Muhammad (SAWS) consumated his marriage to Aisha. Others try and say he was a pedophile which hurts me not having detailed facts. Now if we are looking at it through todays guidlines it would be frowned upon. Salaam. I've been learning about Islam for a few years now. I'm currently struggling to accept God as Most Gracious, Most Merciful. This phrase has to be recited during prayers, I understand. But, look at the state of the world. So much pain and struggle. Not just that, but most of us humans are not believers. This isn't always the fault of the non-believer. Consider how many people are born into terrible circumstances and have no hope of believing in any religion, let alone the one true religion which I understand Islam proclaims to be ?? My own parents have suffered terribly in life - they don't even follow their own religion. They will never pick up a Quran in the short time they have remaining in this world. Consider verse surah 10, verse 100 in the Quran - "None can believe save by the permission of Allah." I interpret this verse to mean, in effect, that God decides who believes. He picks and chooses who comes to Islam. When Heaven and Hell are at stake, this is horrific. What kind of God is this ?? What do you think ? Am I wrong ?

I have heard and read about women not to talk in public,it is in the early scriptures but can not recaall the quotations.I want to know if islam has any knowledge on that?

Correct me if I am mistaken, but according to Islam it is considered that Allah created the world perfectly planned, then how do we explain mutations in DNA which are not always good, for instance they can be harmful to the organism? (e.g: In my studies I have come across the fruit fly which in one case had a mutation and it has legs in the place of antenna- and logically speaking this cannot be beneficial to the organism as antenna sense organs-(this can also be applied to humans) and a mutation is usually considered as a mistake, can you please explain this to me)

Today being gay is openly seen as something that is ok. I know that it is DEFINITELY haram and one of the signs of the day of judgment but I can't help but always feel a hatred inside of me when I see one of them. How do I combat this? I am not homophobic. They can take care of their lives and I will take care of mine. I won't intrude but again, just men wearing shorts or walking a certain way or women who look like men and you can tell that both genders are gay just really irritate me. Of course I understand again, that this is haram and that one should not be like them and to stay away from them but again, this feeling of hatred just seethes inside me How do I combat this feeling? Is this a feeling that shaytan is giving me? To feel hatred to those different from me?

Recently from 5 months now I am getting bad thoughts about Allah and they just come I have no control over it this makes me so depressed that I dont enjoy anything anymore I really wish this goes away I have cried to Allah so many times asking for help sometimes I think Allah hates me because of my thoughts I don't know what to do

Ibn Katheer said in al-Bidaayah wa’l-Nihaayah (1/94): this is (saheeh) according to the conditions of Muslim, even though he did not narrate it. – The period between Nooh and Ibraaheem (peace be upon them both): our evidence is in the continuation of the hadeeth of Abu Umaamah (may Allaah be pleased with him) quoted above: … He said, “And how long was there between Nooh and Ibraaheem?” He said, “Ten centuries.” (Narrated by al-Haakim in al-Mustadrak, 2/288. He said: this hadeeth is saheeh according to the conditions of Muslim, although he did not narrate it. And it was narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Mu’jam al-Kabeer, 8/118. It was reported that some of the narrators of this hadeeth were da’eef (weak), but al-Albaani classed it as saheeh on the basis of corroborating reports. Some of the reports that were narrated include the following: The period between Moosa and ‘Eesa (peace be upon them both). Al-Qurtubi said: there was some difference of opinion as to the length of this period. Muhammad ibn Sa’d mentioned in his book al-Tabaqaat that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “between Moosa ibn ‘Imraan and ‘Eesa ibn Maryam (peace be upon them both) there were one thousand and seven hundred years, and there was no fatrah (interval when no Prophet was sent) between them, for one thousand Prophets of the Children of Israel were sent between them, apart from other Prophets who were also sent (to other nations). And between the birth of ‘Eesa and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) there were five hundred and ninety-nine years.” (Tafseer al-Qurtubi, 6/121). Ibn Hajar said: “The narrators are agreed that the period of the Jews until the coming of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was more than two thousand years, and the period of the Christians until the coming of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was six hundred years.” (Fath al-Baari, 4/449) IS THIS NOT VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME ? 3.MY third doubt is that - quran states the story of two brothers habeel and kabeel , in which one was hunter and one was farmer , but accoding to scientific researches, the humans learned Farming after only 8000 BC. so if adam was the first human how did they learn farming 4 million years ago ? Is that okay to fast on Ashura? And what will be the niyat for that fast?

Sometimes we are getting late for the work or any other reason and the azan hasn't started and it will after some time and at that time can we perform that waqt salat in advanced though we are getting late for that important work ?? Will that be accepted ? For example jumma , so is that okay if any man have emergency work and he is getting late for that work so can he perform jumma salat at home in advanced?

I have seen lots of people on social media saying crap about my religion Islam... I am a born Muslim alhamdulilah... And I truly believe in Allah and Prophet (PBUH) but their were few comments that were disturbing me.. 1) Is that real that few of the Nabis and followers of Islam before Prophet (PBUH) was born, killed few non muslims just because they were not Muslims? Was that right? 2) I just learned about Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) and Asthma Marwa... and learned the reason behind her murder.. How was that right? 3) Is it wrong to doubt about Islam? 4) Why is there few verses in Quran about killing non Muslims?

I know this sounds like a very vague question, but where can I find a list of appropriate (halal) movies to watch? I really enjoy the classic black and white style movies because they have less nudity, but even they have some inappropriate parts (from a muslim perspective).

Is it permissible to complete the Quran recitation in English if it’s difficult for that child to read Arabic and English is their spoken language and local tongue?
